SmartSense® enables automated ventilation using infrared sensing which will automatically sense when it needs to turn on/off or adjust the speed based on the heat of the range. While the voice control capabilities also make it easier than ever to improve air quality in the kitchen. Through the WiFi connection with Alexa or Google Assistant you can control the range hood with voice commands - "Turn my range hood up to fan speed 3". The kitchen is the most polluted room in the house regardless of type of cooking appliance; everything from smoke, odors and chemicals are in the air. The range hood is often forgotten as the primary and most effective way to get the pollutants out of the home and improve the air we breathe. With SmartSense® you don't have to think about turning the ventilation on, you can just trust that your range hood will do it for you. This range hood is HVI certified - guaranteed to provide powerful ventilation with 650 Max Blower CFM to remove the pollutants and improve the air you breathe. While ventilating the kitchen air this range hood is still extremely quiet at a sound level of 0.5 sones on normal speed, which is as loud as whispers. This built-in range hood insert also offers a custom appearance while protecting cabinetry with stainless steel liners.
